Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach
Amy offers online health and wellness coaching. Her approach blends coaching tools derived from positive psychology and functional medicine principles along with mind-body techniques to help clients find inspired motivation. The science of strengths is central to her approach since research shows people who utilize their strengths are 18 times more likely to thrive in life.
Amy is a survivor of mold-related illness. She is an affiliate member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI). Amy is no stranger to the host of frustrating and oftentimes misunderstood symptoms that come with thyroid issues and knows firsthand the cost of burnout from unmanaged stress. Through a whole body approach, Amy continues to discover greater levels of health and wellness. She desires everyone⸺especially those who face chronic health challenges⸺to cultivate compassionate space for a kind, healing journey.
Creativity and love of learning are at Amy’s core. She has experience in the realms of education, communications and organizational development. She first learned of the powerful connection between the mind and body during her decade in the kindergarten classroom and remains deeply curious about the interplay between our bodily experiences, thoughts and brains. Amy is seeking National Board Certification for Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC) by sitting for exams in the coming year.
Amy resides in Saint Louis with her husband and five-year-old son. On the rare occasion her nose isn’t in a book, her eyes expectantly scan the skies for rainbows.
